An Almuñécar-based judge has reported a policeman from the municipal-police force for allegedly threatening her.
The Motril law courts are going to handle the case and have instructed the Guardia Civil to provide protection, should it be deemed necessary.
The Chief of the Almuñécar Policía Local, Manuel Ledesma, who is aware of the legal proceedings, considers that it is just a case of a “misunderstanding,” and that the incident did not occur within the Almuñécar law-court buildings.
The Andalusian High Court pointed out that although the case was initiated in the Motril law courts, it will eventually be transferred over to the Almuñécar ones.
Little has been made public about the actual circumstances of the encounter between the judge and the policeman, but as the proceedings progress, more will become known.
