A man from Vélez Benaudalla remains hospitalised in the ICU of Traumoltologia in Granada after receiving a brutal beating from his nephew.

It is still not known what caused the fight on the 2nd of April but what is known is that it started inside a house then when the 38-year-old uncle managed to run into the street, his 20-year-old nephew continued to attack him, using a large stone.

The victim’s state is described as “very serious” and the alleged aggressor is being held in Guardia Civil custody until he is brought before a magistrate, charged with attempted manslaughter.
