Walking around the streets of Salobreña in mid-February you probably noticed a lot of kids nattering in French – no; your hearing aid’s working just fine.
The fact is that the local high school IES Nazarí had a bunch of French exchange students over from Lycée Saint-Croix Saint Euverte in Orléans for a week.
During their stay they were whisked off to the Alhambra, Sierra Nevada and over into Málaga, as well as the points of interest in Salobreña itself.
The kids are from 4th Grade; i.e., 13 and 14-year olds and who, no doubt, were shown the real (teenage) places of interest by locals kids of their own age.
