Synopsis: Four days before the Allies invade Nazi-occupied Europe via the beaches of Normandy, Winston Churchill is far from convinced that Operation Overload should go ahead on the 6th. He also finds himself being shoved towards the sidelines of decision making, after four years of being at the very centre of it.

A superb interpretation by Brian Cox, along with Miranda Richardson, make this film a must-watch. That’s Thursday the 9th at 19.00h.
