Police are trying to track down the person or persons who threw acid over a dog, causing it horrific injuries.

The 2-year-old female Pinscher, whose owners live in Urbanización Montepinar in El Esparragal, Murcia, came close to dying owing to her injuries.

It appears that somebody beckoned the dog over to the fence and then threw acid on her, causing her acid burns to her head, tongue and eyes.
