A Policía Local in Valdepeñas (Jaén) shot the owner of a sandwich & rolls shop, killing him and accidentally wounded a customer before turning the gun on himself.

The incident occurred on the 25th of June around 15.00h, according to the Guardia Civil report, when the off-duty, 54-year-old policeman entered the establishment of a man with whom he had had previous arguments and shot him dead.

The other victim was hit by a ricochet, wounding him and resulting in his being hospitalized at the main hospital in the provincial capital.
