Four people were injured in a road accident on the A-44 where it goes through the municipality of Vélez Benaudalla on Sunday the 25th.

Emergency services received a call at 11.35h to say that a car had swerved off the autovía on the coast-bound lanes.

The Guardia Civil and an ambulance were immediately despatched to the scene. where paramedics confirmed that a 2-year-old child, two women aged 30 and 32 and a man aged 32 had been injured. They were all taken to Santa Ana Hospital.

It is not known at the moment what had caused the accident.
