The First Councillor for La Herradura has announced that the clearing of the villages dry gullys has begun, initially, the Rambla del Espinar.

It is the perfect time to get rid of the vegetation before a possible freak summer cloud burst flushes it all down onto the beaches.

The clearing work will include the whole course of the rambla from its mouth where it reaches the beach to the sports centre

Next to be cleared are the Barranquillo La Mezquita and Rambla Las Tejas.

All of this work comes out of the municipal coffers, as if previous years are to serve as experience, it is a waste of time waiting for the Junta to do it.
