Herradura Cervantes Streetmarket

LHR Luna FiestaToday will see the inauguration of the II Festival Luz de Luna in La Herradura with a street market in homage to Spain’s most famous author; Miguel Cervantes.

The said street market will be along the town-centre streets; i.e., Calle Canalejas and Calle Príncipe, which were recently resurfaced with pebble-mosaic designs.

The actual inauguration ceremony begins at 18.30h with the official opening of the market with music and even belly dancing! Each day the market will include games/activities for kiddies.

Around 22.00h hundreds of candles will be lit and there will be ‘giant-head’ parade, accompanied by musicians.

As for Saturday, at the market will reopen at 11.00h with with workshops for making figures out of EVA foam. Oh, and belly dancing with more music.

Finally Sunday will be pretty much along the lines of Saturday; i.e., starting at 11.00h with workshops, activities, etc.
