The Guardia Civil arrested a driver for speeding, reaching speeds of 230 KPH, however, they didn’t actually catch him doing it; he had posted his achievement online.

The arrested man had his passenger film his race along the H-30 in Huelva, focusing his mobile-phone camera on the speedometre, as well as on the road. He then posted it on social media, little suspecting that the Guardia Civil would soon be keenly viewing it.

By careful examination of the video they were able to identify the driver and the stretch of road where the race was taking place – a section of road with a speed limit of just 80 KPH.
