The Salobreña association for traders and businesses (ACESA) has come up with a discount card, which has a double aim: stimulate purchases and support local businesses.

Councillor for Tourism, Manuel Guirado, together with the Chairman of the said association, Pepe Casas and the owner of Araceli Muebles, Luis Castilla, presented the card before the public.

As for the card, which gives shoppers discounts starting at 10%, it’s completely free and can be used in all of the 70 different businesses around town. If you want to know which businesses are taking part or what sort of discount they offer, visit the municipal webpage under tourism.

All the shops and businesses taking part will be sporting an emblem in a prominent place stating: Salobreña Card.

Where can you obtain the card? In the Tourist Office, the Casa de la Cultura, Bratán, librería 1616, Asesoria Bosch and Instalaciones Caval.
