Mayor Proud of Local Chefs

SAL Chefs Awarded OnLThe Mayor of Salobreña, Mª Eugenia Rufino, has congratulated the three local chefs who won prizes in the Best Chef on the Costa Tropical competition.

As readers will know, the chef at Hotel Mibia, José de la Blanca, won the top prize and Chef Pablo González at the Trasmallo took the Third Prize.

The Second Prize went to an Almuñécar restaurant (Firmvm) but whose chef is from Salobreña, Sergio González.

The Mayor considers that the competition put on by Hotel Victoria Playa in Almuñécar was an excellent promotional event for the whole of the Costa Tropical, highlighting the superb cuisine and professionalism of the chefs.
