It’s great to see something original, giving locals a wider choice of takeaway food; such is the case with Al Bar who do delicious spit-roast ham.

It’s Sunday and you can’t be bothered to do a roast and quite frankly, you don’t fancy a roast chicken, so why not a ración of spit-roast ham that you can rush home with whilst somebody knocks up the gravy, veg and roasties.

Of course, Al Bar, which is located just across the road from the P-4 Mercandona in Almuñécar, does lots of other things both to eat on the spot or take away; everything from rolls, chips, roscas… you name it.

They make their own burgers and the salads are so fresh that they squeal when you stick ’em with your fork!

With outside seating, as well as inside, there’s plenty of space to find a table if you have just marched out of Murky Donna’s and fancy, breakfast, a snack, or whatever, before driving your shopping home.
