From the 4th to the 11th of July the V edición de SaloArte & Turismo will exhibit the work of 13 Spanish and Foreign resident artists.

The exhibition will be on two floors of the Museo Histórico, which is in the old part of town.

The exhibition of paintings, photos sculptures and textile art is organized by Helen McCormack, who explained that their aim has been to provide quality rather than quantity.

Amongst the works are 36 photos taken by Californian photographer, Gary Conner during a visit to Salobreña 40 years ago. Furthermore, Pittsburg artist, Joanna Commandaros has donated a sculpture entitled Flower Garden to the town.
