The opposition party, the PSOE, in La Herradura/Almuñécar considers that the lamentable state of Los Verdiales is shameful and intolerable, says party Spokeswoman, Mª Dolores Martin Manzano.

According to the said councillor there are “many other places” within the municipality where cleanliness is “conspicuous by its absence.”

She also claims that on many occasions her party has brought such deficiencies to the attention of the governing party.

Editorial comment: while the area concerned appears to have turned into a dumping ground owing to a lack of or regular rubbish collection, one can’t help but notice that the elections are back on the cards.
