Lighting for A-7 Autovia

LHR A7 Lighting Deficit OnLThe Almuñécar-La Herradura branch of the Ciudadanos political party is prompting the Town Hall to push for A-7 lighting along its access roads.

We’re talking about the stretch of road that connects the Las Palomas roundabout to the autovía itself, along which there is no lighting whatsoever.

“It’s been four months that there has been no lighting,” says the party spokesman, Sr. Genol, adding, “It seems that it’s of no importance to the Town Hall that there are no welcome signs, nor even the name of the town along these access roads.”

This same party has also called attention to the fact that the main-road traffic lights next to the gasoline station in Almuñécar have been out of action for several days.

Editorial comment: although these are valid points, one can’t help but note that political parties are gearing up for repeating the general elections as national parties can’t agree on coalition government pacts.
