Work has begun on the laying of a rain-drainage system along the Paseo de Reina Sofia in Almuñécar, starting at the water-park end.

Work has started down there because it causes little inconvenience to day-to-day activity of the locals and it will be completed before Semana Santa.

As soon as Easter is over, work will begin on the rest of the paseo; some 600 metres.

There will be five main collection points, 31 minor ones and 62 rain drains.

Anyway, that’s the plan, now we just need some rain for a change.
