Whilst most of us were ripping up our Christmas lottery tickets in dismay, somebody bagged 24,000 euros in Almuñécar… and they were not alone!

Ticket number 00943, which was sold at Jofri, pulled the 5th Prize. In fact, four tickets with that number were sold in the Province of Granada: two in the capital and one each in Almuñécar and Motril.

The winner number in Motril was sold by Jesús Ruiz Pérez in Administration Number Six.

María Teresa Gamarra, who runs Liberia Jofri in Almuñécar, is no stranger to selling winning Xmas lottery as she sold a winning ticket last Christmas. The photo, by the way, is from last year.
