The ex-Mayor of Castril, José Juan López, has been cleared of making calls from the his official mobile phone to erotic hotlines.

Despite what had been published in the regional press, police investigations subsequently found that José Juan López Ródenas had made no such calls.

Sr. López finds it lamentable that opposition councillor Miguel Ortiz could make such false claims and that the press should readily echo them.
