The Parish priest of Almuñécar, Vicente Guerrero, received a cheque from the town’s municipal police for 7,000 euros for Cáritas.

To raise this impressive sum the municipal police organised two fund-raising events.

The cheque was handed over in the town-hall conference room with the Mayor, Councillor for Culture, the Parish Priest and several members of the force present.

That will certainly come in handy as in these times of hardship the charity is providing extensive help for those in need.
