A couple and their four children suffered carbon-monoxide poisoning in their Motril home on Sunday the 13th.
The emergency services received a call at 20.50h from a neighbour of the family, calling for medical assistance because minors were showing signs of fumes intoxication on Calle Jacinto Benavente in Motril.
Fire, ambulance and police units were despatched and the couple and children, aged 7, 11 and 12 were taken to Hospital de Santa Ana.
It is not known what caused the fumes, be it was probably a gas heater or another another, similar type of apparatus.
