Juan Antonio Guzmán Sánchez from Málaga won the Pro Category of the VIII Enduro Indoor, which was held in Tarmay, Almuñecar.

Forty riders participated, both local lads and those from neighbouring provinces.

Local riders, Francisco Alonso Sales took second place and Alberto Bueno Mochón took third.

One rider, Miguel Antequera, took a tumble soon after setting off and had to be evacuated to the area hospital in Motril. Fortunately, he was not seriously hurt.

One final comment, the entire takings (after expenses) from the bar went to help Javier Rubiño, who is in coma in Hospital San Rafael in Granada.
