The Mayor stated that the end result is that the town has lost out, including the school concerned.
The school, in its letter explaining its position, claims that moving the actual bus stop 40 metres will cause more problems than it solves. They consider that pollution, both airborne and noise, would be prejudicial for the pupils.
They also questioned whether it was legal to hand public land over to the use of a private company (Alsina).
Ah well, it sounded good on paper!
