The Nerja Players are producing a dramatised reading of a British, comedy classic for the opening night of their new season and everyone is welcome to attend.

The Blood Donor became one of Tony Hancock’s best-known programmes when it first appeared on the BBC  in 1961. The script by Ray Galton and Alan Simpson remains one of the best-known sitcom episodes ever written.

The reading will take place on Tuesday, October 20th, in the Nerja Bridge Club at the top of avenida Castilla Pérez (enter through the blue doors set back next to the Café Royale) at 18.30h for 19.00h. Entry is free of charge.

The Nerja Players continue look for new members, not only to appear on stage but also for the backstage and technical aspects of a drama production. After October 20, the group meet on the first and third Tuesdays of every month.
