The Almuñécar municipal police recovered a 4×4 vehicle that had been stolen in Algarrobo, on the eastern Costa del Sol.

The driver, a 37-year-old man of Moroccan nationality, residing in Algeciras and with the initials M.A., was arrested.

The arrest took place shortly after the policemen noticed the driver “behaving suspiciously” at the wheel of a Hyundai Santa Fe.

When they checked the car docs and number plate against the police computer, it come up as stolen.

No doubt party hats and farting cushions all round at the municipal police station in Almuñécar afterwards…
