The locals up in Almuñécar’s Turillas and Moscaril, in the higher area of Gelibra, will soon be happy bunnies over their access lane.
Thanks to funds from the Provincial Council, some 900 metres of lanes will have a quarter of a million euros thrown at them.
The existing lane will be widened to between 4.0 and 4.5 metres in width, starting at the Molino de Gelibra as far as the municipal boundary with Otívar and Jete, in the Moscaril area. some 8,700 square metres of tarmac will be laid.
The Cuesta del Mosco in the Pago El Zahonado, will also be getting a slice of the budget and the same treatment with 1,300 lineal metres being improved right up to the Malpica.
Damn, I’ve lived here the greater part of my life and I’ve never heard of these places!
