If you like dressage and horses in general, then La Herradura is the place to be this coming Sunday, the 5th.

“Arte de Andalucía a Caballo” is the name of this equine event, which will be held in the temporary bullring, next to the beach (Peña Parda end).

The show starts at 17.30h and entrance prices vary between three and five euros. If you prefer to book, then phone 676 385 583, or if you prefer, you can buy your tickets in Hotel Chinasol or the Pescadería Medina in Almuñécar and La Herradura.

The day before, on Saturday the 4th, and at the same time in the afternoon, there will be a Gran Prix involving six groups and a young bull (vaquilla).

Both of these events had been originally planned to take place during the village fete, but due to the bad weather, they were postponed.
