More on Marina Shoot Out

The black Mercedes involved in the shooting incident in the Marina del Este has turned up in Adra, LHR-Marina-Este-smallAlmería.

The forensic department of the Guardia Civil have thoroughly gone over the vehicle looking for fingerprints or biological traces that could provide DNA samples.

Going back to what we already know, about twelve people were involved. Despite the 15-odd shots heard, few cartridge casings were recovered, which could be put down to the type of firearm: a revolver doesn’t eject spent casings.

We previously reported that a Romanian man had gone around to the Guardia Civil post to say that his Mercedes had been stolen during the incident. This is precisely the car that turned up in Adra. Furthermore, the car owner allegedly has an extensive criminal record.

Lastly, the Guardia Civil made it known that the Marina incident is not related to the discovery of 120 kilos of heroine in a lorry loaded with marble for the Nevada shopping centre in Granada.
