Firemen rescued a foreign man in his 70’s from a car wreck after it left the road and fell 40 metres down an embankment. The car’s further descent was stopped by a tree.

The accident occurred at kilometre point 12.5 on the A-7207 within the municipality of Torrox. In fact, it is the only part of the road that doesn’t have a crash barrier.

It took the firemen a bit of work to get him out and up to the road to a waiting ambulance, which took him to the area hospital in Vélez-Málaga.
