Used Cooking Oil Collection Points in Salobreña

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThe Salobreña Town Council has signed a deal with Reciclados la Estrella, for the collection and disposal of used cooking oil.

The manager of the company, José Antonio Ortega del Moral, explained that each container – there will be six – for used oil, would earn his company 120 euros in profit per annum for the town coffers.

The Councillor for the Environment, Martín Valenzuela, said that if all goes well, which has been the case in other towns, the number of collection containers around town could increment to between ten and twelve.

Exciting stuff!
