La Herradura Gets A Lick of Paint

LHR sprucing up OnLThe municipal employment programme, Ocupados, has been active, sprucing up La Herradura. A few days ago it was the turn of the gardeners and now it is the turn of the painters and electricians.

They’ve been out painting the riverbank walls white, along the Ramblar del Espinar, as well a restoring to their former glory the brick & mortar welcome signs on the town limits; i.e. above Playa Cantarriján.

In the meantime the electricians involved in his employment programme have been servicing the street lighting around the village church, Iglesia San José.

The First Councillor for La Herradura, Juan José Ruiz Joya, thanked and congratulated the course monitors and the students for their excellent work, making the village a prettier place.
