The Almuñécar Department for Culture has begun selling tickets for a second performance of “Sleeping Beauty.” The original performance on the 23rd of May is completely sold out.

And it’s hardly surprising as the performing ballet company is none other than the Moscow Ballet.

The new date is the after the first performance; i.e. 24th of May and curtain up is at 20.00h.

You can buy your tickets at the tourist information offices or via the Internet (www.almunecarentradas.com). The entrance fee is 23 euros, so it’s a bargain and two euros cheaper than buying them at the door… if there are any left, that is.

The Moscow Ballet was founded in 1989 by Timur Fayziev, shortly after retiring from the stage. He decided to found his own classical dance academy and since then his dancers have toured Japan, England, Spain, Ireland, Germany, Thailand, Switzerland and other countries.
