As predicted, almost 1,400 runners participated in the XXVII Gran Premio de Fondo Diputación – Cruzcampo 2014.

It was a pretty spirited run with the first three coming in with only eight seconds between the first and third.

The overall winner, Martos Roa, ran the 10-km course in 32 minutes and 22 seconds. José Manuel Fernández Rodríguez, belonging to the Club Olimpo Granada did the course in 32 minutes 25 seconds and the third in, Cristóbal García Guillén, belonging to the Murcia club, Cehegín Triatlón-Tortugas, came in just three seconds after that.
