Help! I keep getting lost in the Almuñécar Mercadona!

It’s true… ever since they did the reforms to the place (the older Mercadona opposite Lidl), I can’t find my way around or even back to the exit. Yes, I realise it is in part because of my age, but surely some other people must be suffering in a similar way.

My suggestion is, that anyone over 40 should be supplied with a SatNav system at the entrance. Then, upon reaching the baby products at the very rear of the store, you can just tap the ‘home’ icon and be able to find your way back without going past the perfumery section three or four times!

Normally, on a quick 20 euro visit, I would be in and out in 15 minutes, depending on the queues at the till. Now, every visit is at least 30 minutes… I saw one chap in there that I’m sure had been wandering around the bread section for at least 2 days!

Don’t worry, I do realise that there will be many of you reading this thinking that I’m some sort of idiot… and you’d be right, but please tell me I’m not the only person who finds the new layout at Mercadona akin to that of the Hampton Court Maze!
