The Policía Local in Motril arrested a man for alleged car theft, who apparently used it to go shopping with his two kids.

The police approached the parked car, which according to their records had been stolen that very morning. However, they were surprised to find to minors inside – it was at that point the father-cum-car thief came back to stop the children speaking to the police, whilst at the same time claiming he had no idea where the car had come from…

He was arrested on the spot and the children returned to their home.
