Mobile Phone Reporting

ALM reporting app OnLAlmuñécar has installed a system whereby citizens can inform the Town Hall of problems detected in public infrastructure.

Councillor for the Environment, Luis Aragón, said that Almuñécar has thus become one of the first municipalities in the province to install such a system. Furthermore, this system backs up the already existing online citizen environment watch that has been in existence since June 2012: www.lineaverdealmunecar.com.

To be able to use the system on your smartphone, you need only to download the Línea Verde phone app by going to Google Play or App Store, depending on the OS of your mobile phone; i.e., Android or iOS. The Linea Verde App is free.

One you have it installed and fired up (activated) you need only choose the town and the decide whether you wish to pose a question or report an incident. The app automatically records where you are when you make the report, giving your map coordinates. You can also do it manually, if you prefer to make the report later on. You can even attach a photo of what you want to report, giving a brief description.

Once you have submitted the sighting, the ball begins to roll and once it’s sorted out, you receive notification on your mobile.

As for the online system via www.lineaverdealmunecar.com, you can make any enquiry concerning environmental issues and within 24 hours you will receive an answer.

Welcome to the 21st Century, Ladies and their Foot Warmers… sorry, Gentlemen.
