Working is taking place along the old Camino del Berenguel track that links La Herradura to the Punta de la Mona.

“We’re attending to a request from locals and in this first phase of the project we will be putting street lamps along la Cuesta de la Negrita,” explained First Councillor for the village, Juan José Ruiz Joya,

A total of five street lamps will be installed, each nine metres high and a 12-metre-high one, which should adequately illuminate the lane, he said.

He also explained that in subsequent phase these improvements will run all the way up to the Urbanización de la Punta de la Mona.
