Death on Salobreña Beach

The 66-year-old woman was found dead on her beach sun lounger – there were no suspicious circumstances involved.

The incident occurred on the 9th of this month with the emergency services being alerted at 12.20h by fellow bathers who had noticed that the woman hadn’t moved for quite some while, despite the heat.

At first the ambulance crew thought that it might be heatstroke and ‘respiratory failure,’ but they soon discovered that she had no pulse. Apparently the woman, who was from Huétor Vega, suffered from several illnesses so the exact cause of death is yet to be known, but the most likely cause might have been a heart attack.
