The Mossos d’Esquadra (Catalan regional police) arrested a man and charged him not only with the theft of a car, but also of ejecting the elderly passenger.

The 40-year-old thief from El Prat de Llobregat has never possessed a driving licence in his life, by the way.

The police had received a call from a woman to say that somebody had stolen her car with her elderly mother inside.

According to the police, the thief allegedly jumped into the car and drove off at high speed, pushing the mother out of the door as he sped along.
