Wooden Square Now History

La Herradura’s last vestige of its wooden-pier-and-paseo days has now been completely eliminated; in its place is just what passes for sand and the original palm trees.

It took a little over a week to dismantle the wooden square, which comprised of old railway sleepers. All this during the first days of July…

Locals are proposing a new arrangement for the area, but for the time being it will just receive fresh ‘sand,’ and await better times as far as municipal funds go.
