The Nerja Councillor for Urban Planning, Nieves Atencia, will be putting forward a suggestion in the next Plenary meeting of the Council concerning Calle Animas.

The idea is to turn house number 15/15a into something of social-cultural use. This private property, which used to be the site of an oil mill and then later a car workshop, stands on a 629 sq/m plot, right in the middle of Nerja. In fact, it is very close to the Museo de Nerja and the Centro Cultural Villa de Nerja.

What would be needed in the Plenary Meeting is for the land on which it stands to be re-categorized, as at the moment it is for ‘residential use.’
