It was two in the morning when a Policía Local patrol came across a supermarket in Motril with its window smashed – they decided to investigate.

They entered cautiously into the self-service shop in question, which is just behind Las Explanadas, and found the place in a mess with lots of things scattered upon the floor.

They also found, hiding behind the counter, a gentleman who should not have been there. Naturally, they suggested that he should accompany them and try out some handcuffs.
