The First Councillor for La Herradura has announced that the street-lighting improvements to San Jose Church and Calle Barranquillo have concluded.

Councillor Juan José Ruiz Joya said that the finishing touches had had to be put on hold during the village fiestas but had now been finalized.

The final touches in question was the finishing off of the burying of cables for the new, 3m-high, street lights, each with 100w bulbs all the way up to the church.

The Councillor pointed out that the pavements have been approved, taking advantage of the cable-burying work.
