Tourist Office Moves

The La Herradura Tourist Information Office has been moved from the Paseo, next to Hotel Fenicios, to the Centro Cívico.

The reason, says the First Councillor for La Herradura, Juan José Ruiz Joya, is so that it will be centrally located, instead of down one end of the Paseo Marítimo de Andrés Segovia.

This is the third location for the office since it first opened 20 years ago: the first site was next to the Municipal Market, it was then swooped up by passing aliens and deposited in the old Estación Náutica. Statistics, however, showed that there was a noticeable drop in ‘people through the door,’ probably as it entailed a packed lunch and a 3-day camel trek to reach it.

The opening times remain the same as before during the low season; i.e., 09.30h to 14.00h and 16.30h to 19.00h.
