The Nerja Councillor for Infrastructure, Antonio García, has announced that the Town Council has approved a project to do up Calle El Barrio, connecting Calles Castilla Pérez and Antonio Millón. The 275,000 euro budget will come from the Provincial Council

At the moment, the Councillor explained, they were still at the paperwork stage, but once started the work will take four months, projected to conclude before the onslaught of the summer hordes. The end product will look like the first section of Calle El Barrio, which has already been revamped.

Included within the project is an overhaul of the water mains, rain drainage and sewage system.
