The Nerja Councillor for Traffic, Inocencia Quintero, has set up new parking areas and changed around the directions on some of the town’s streets

The streets affected are Calle Almirante Carranza and the prolongation of Calle Antonio Millón. Both streets have become one-way streets, making room to park cars side-by-side, rather than nose-to-tail. This new arrangement has brought into being, according to the councillor, 100 new parking places. Before you raise an incredulous eyebrow, that figure includes motorbike parking places…

The El Playazo area has also also had new parking places arranged, as well as new traffic signs installed.
