Burriana Underground Parking

The Nerja Town Hall has received a total of 28 bids for the projected underground parking facilities on Burriana Beach. On the 25th of June the selection process began with step one, which consists of checking that the proposals submitted by the aspirant companies comply with all the requisites.

Once that has concluded, step two deals with all technical information to be processed and finally step three deals with the best economical deal. So first the credentials, next the technical information supplied and finally, who’s placed the cheapest option.

Councillor for Infrastructure, Antonio García, says that the said underground installations must provide 180 parking slots, with an investment budget of 2.7m euros, provided by State via FOMIT (acronym for: state financial funds for the modernization of touristic infrastructure).
