The Councillor for Justice and the Interior, Emilio de Llera put his foot in it over a ‘piropo’ (compliment) paid to the attractive female judge, Mercedes Alaya, who never smiles in public, it seems.

The Councillor made the critical error of pointing out that despite her tremendous judicial workload, she still manages to look beautiful… What a heinous thing to say; atrociously sexist and designed to denigrate the said judge…

Before you could say, “please don’t saw my unworthy testicles off,” we had the Spokeswoman for the PP-A, Rosario Soto, accusing him of “lacking respect towards women,” because he dared make a reference to her physical aspect

God knows what would have happened if, hypothetically speaking, he had suggested – quite inaccurately – that she was an ugly bitch.
