Hendersonville Hangs Out

We had a mild invasion of American tourists from the twinned US town of Hendersonville, North Carolina, fulfilling the US Mayor’s promise to ship ’em over to meet European Mexicans in their original habitat.

The 30 tourists were led, heroically, by Mrs Linda Sokalski, as it wasn’t her first visit and is not frightened easily. They battened down for the nights at Hotel Almuñécar Playa, and no sooner than they had arrived here, they asked for meeting with the ex-Mayor, Juan Carlos Benavides, under whom the twinning process was set up, two years ago.

Benny was accompanied by his right-hand-woman within his last administration, Eva Gaitan, who is rather attractive… if her husband is reading this, the aforementioned observation is a printing mistake caused at the printer.

Mrs Linda Sokalski can be seen in the above photograph, signing the the Book of Honour, followed by a signed declaration that they had no hotel towels in their baggage.

Anyway, they all got home safely, with no muggings, terrorist attacks or communist insinuations, having enjoyed seeing where swarthy gardeners evolved from.
