Strange headline, admittedly, but these three figures are the most startling things about this article: a 70-year-old man stabs a 33-year-old prostitute 91 times – you can rule out an accident.
The incident, which has earned the aggressor 17 years and six months behind bars, occurred in Cerro, Córdoba in 2009. The victim lived with the aggressor at his home in the Calle Rey Don Pelayo.
The defence lawyer announced that he would appeal before the regional supreme court (TSJA) as in his opinion, there was no malice aforethought, as none of the 91 wounds, caused by a sharp knife and a pretty wicked looking, hooked machete (hocino) were fatal – she had simply bled to death, not unsurprisingly.
Well, good luck on that one…
